In this document the words ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘us’ are used to refer to Expose Data Pty Ltd ‘Exposé. ‘You’ and ‘your’ refer to you as the person whose personal information Exposé may collect and maintain. We are committed to ensuring the privacy of your information and to complying with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), which are contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act).
Exposé collects, uses and discloses personal information relating to various individuals in the course of providing our clients our services, marketing and running our business. We understand that privacy and how we collect, use, disclose and protect your information is important to you. And, for us, protecting the confidentiality and privacy of your information is fundamental to our professional relationship.

This includes information you provide when you use our site, subscribe to our newsletter, search for a service, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions, enter a competition, promotion or survey, and when you report a problem with our site. (ii) Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); services you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.
(c) Information we receive from other sources – We may receive information about you if you use other social media sites, websites we operate or the other services we provide. We are also working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers) and may receive information about you from them.
In some circumstances, we may collect personal information from you which is regarded as sensitive information pursuant to the Act. Sensitive information includes types of personal information such as your racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs or affiliations. We will only collect sensitive information when necessary in accordance with section 3.3 of the Australian Privacy Principles as set out within the Act about you with your consent and where reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, one or more of our functions or activities. Where you provide sensitive information to us, you consent to us using that sensitive information for the purpose for which it was collected. However, we do not collect personal information that we do not need.
2. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Any personal information you provide to us will be used for business purposes only. We will only ask for and use personal information we reasonably need to conduct our business and communicate with you effectively in regards to your service or employment (or perspective employment) If you have received any promotional material and do not wish to receive it then, upon letting us know, we will no longer send it to you.
By providing us, or otherwise allowing us to collect, your personal information, you consent to us using and disclosing your personal information for the purposes for which it was collected, and for related or ancillary purposes. We use information held about you in the following ways:

We are only allowed to store your personal information for as long as necessary having regard to the purpose for which it was collected or a related or ancillary purpose. We may therefore delete your personal information after a reasonable period of time and, if you have not used our services for some time, you may have to re-enter or re-supply your personal information to us.

3. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Where Exposé engages external information technology service providers, we ensure that wherever possible, our data is stored within Australia. Some of our vendors do however store data in overseas locations, including but not limited to UK, New Zealand, USA, and South Africa.
4. STORAGE AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Exposé takes all reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Most information is held in [cloud electronic records], which may only be accessed by employees of Exposé in the performance of their duties. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all third-party service providers which hold your personal information are bound by appropriate contractual obligations regarding the protection, disclosure and use of the information.

5. ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
You may request access to details of personal information we hold about you, in certain circumstances set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). An administrative fee may be payable for the provision of information. We may not be able to provide you with information that we hold about you, in certain circumstances set out in the Privacy Act.
If you believe that any information we hold on you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please contact us by email to initiate a correction. We rely in part upon customers advising us when their personal information changes. We will respond to any request within a reasonable time. We will endeavour to promptly correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
6. DIRECT MARKETING AND YOUR PRIVACY
We regularly distribute to our customer’s general information and newsletters regarding our services. If we believe it may be of interest to you, we may, from time to time, supply you with specific information regarding some of our products and services. We will always provide a simple ‘opt-out’ option with this correspondence. Alternatively, you may update your preferences by contacting any of our offices.
7. COLLECTION NOTICE FOR POTENTIAL EMPLOYEES AND TRAINEES OF EXPOSÉ
Exposé collects your personal information as part of our process of selection for the position for which you have applied.
• Your personal information may be collected from you personally or from any employment agency you or we employ, or any referee whose details you provide.
• If you are applying for a role or traineeship and you are attending school, you must get the permission of your Principal or School Representative in order to have an exemption to work at Exposé
• We will not collect sensitive information (for instance about your religious beliefs, your professional or trade association memberships or your health information) unless you volunteer the information and consent to its collection.
• If you do not provide all or part of the information we request we may not be able to process your application.
• We do not ordinarily disclose your personal information to third parties, and if for some unlikely reason this does occur, we will do so in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
• You may request access to any of your personal information we hold in accordance with this policy.
